Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to sell mortgage platforms and solutions to banks, credit unions, mortgage lenders, and brokers.
Identify and target potential clients, generate leads, and establish strong relationships with decision-makers in the mortgage industry.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor strategies within the mortgage technology space.
Build and manage a robust pipeline of potential clients, qualifying leads, and guiding prospects through the sales funnel.
Establish, curate, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, loan officers, and technology leaders.
Lead presentations, product demonstrations, and discussions to effectively communicate the value proposition of the company’s mortgage solutions.
Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring mutual value for both the company and the client.
Drive consistent revenue growth by meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
Develop and implement account management strategies for ongoing relationship building and upselling opportunities with existing clients
Cross-functionally support teams (marketing, product development, and customer success) to align sales strategies with product capabilities and market needs.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required
Strong knowledge of mortgage origination, servicing, or underwriting processes and systems.
Demonstrated track record of success in selling technology solutions to financial institutions or mortgage-related companies.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
Ability to travel as required for client meetings, conferences, and events.
Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance issues in the mortgage industry.
Familiarity with digital transformation trends in lending, such as AI, machine learning, and automation in mortgage platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
8+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience in the mortgage, financial technology (FinTech), or SaaS industry.
