Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategy for originating, qualifying, and closing solar PV projects that meet UGE’s target criteria

Meet prospective customers to identify and secure project opportunities, cultivate long-term opportunities

Negotiate commercial terms and legal agreements with customers

In conjunction with UGE’s marketing team, build a lead generation engine to source and qualify leads for behind-the-meter projects

Build and nurture relationships with referral agents and channel partners to generate additional qualified leads and projects

Required

Substantial experience in commercial & industrial PV sales or business development, including behind-the-meter projects, with a clear track record of closing successful projects

Demonstrated business acumen, including relationship building and negotiating

Ability to analyze information, interpret data, and solve practical problems

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize workload and work successfully with other functions in an organization

Self-starter who is driven to consistently meet and exceed targets
