Responsibilities
Ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality behavioral healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.
Oversee the administrative and business functions of the eight regional behavioral health clinics to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Manage financial operations, human resources, and compliance, while also supporting the strategic goals of the organization.
Be active in legislative session testifying to secure continued funding for state operated behavioral health services in North Dakota.
Work closely with Behavioral Health Division leadership and other senior leaders to improve outcomes, ensure service accessibility, and maintain a focus on client-centered care across the state's behavioral health system.

Required
A bachelor's degree in a related field
Eight years of work experience in a specific behavioral health program area that involved managing a budget and supervising individuals
A master's degree in a field related to the position's program responsibility area may substitute for two years of the work experience requirement
Additional work experience as specified may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis
A valid driver's license
Successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation
Must be 21 years of age or older
