Responsibilities
Drive the rhythm of business (ROB) for internal communications for Microsoft Digital as a member of the Microsoft Digital Strategy & Operations team, ensuring our global team is energized, engaged, informed, and connected.
Create and maintain a comprehensive communications strategy and roadmap, ensuring organizational excellence and alignment.
Leverage multiple channels including email, Viva Engage, Teams, and others as appropriate to build awareness, alignment and community across our global employee population.
Partner with other internal comms leads to drive a consistent and repeatable approach to internal communications that maximizes employee engagement and connection throughout the COO’s organization.
Coordinate and support messaging and artifact creation for major events including Microsoft Inspire, Ignite, Airlift, Build, as well as internal events like GIVE month, Hackathon, etc.
Build PowerPoint presentations and other digital assets to support internal and external storytelling as required by the business, aligned to the ROB and communications plan.
Actively contribute to the success of the Strategy & Operations team through your communication, business, data analysis, and program management skills.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience + OR equivalent experience.
4+ years experience managing communications strategy and rhythm of business (ROB) at the executive level and across multiple teams.
A portfolio of work, demonstrating effective written communication, video-based communication, customer/partner facing presentations, and/or published online stories/blog posts.
Preferred
4+ years specialized functional (e.g., retail, technology) experience
6+ years experience supporting senior executives in an executive communications role
3+ years experience working with social media platforms
Business intelligence familiarity and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Lightweight video editing and graphic design experience.
Demonstrable cross-discipline and cross-team collaboration skills. Demonstrable ability to influence others without authority.
Experience building stories/posts for consumption on LinkedIn and other professional social channels, including corporate blogs.
Program management certification in PMI or Agile.
