Responsibilities

Lead teams and initiatives to support the development, implementation, and enhancement of risk management programs, including governance support, risk oversight, and risk infrastructure development.

Partner with key stakeholders to identify, assess, and document risks and controls for new or modified products, services, regulations, and third-party operations.

Develop and monitor the organization's risk profile, ensuring metrics reflect external/internal conditions and align with the enterprise's risk appetite. Use ERM tools to create dashboards, generate reports, and present detailed slide presentations to the board.

Formulate and implement risk management policies, procedures, and standards in collaboration with senior leadership and risk committees.

Conduct compliance assessments and develop strategies to ensure key business processes meet regulatory and contractual obligations. Communicate regulatory changes, respond to audit inquiries, and lead corrective action plans with cross-functional teams.

Monitor regulatory developments and recommend improvements to enhance the ERM function and related reporting.

Required

Extensive experience in risk management, enterprise risk management frameworks, and governance processes.

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks related to risk management and business operations (e.g., SOX, Basel III, Dodd-Frank, GDPR).

Proficient in using ERM tools and software to create dashboards, generate reports, and develop presentations for board and executive leadership.

Skilled in risk identification, quantification, and aggregation; skilled in using risk management software, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Strong leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior leadership, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize initiatives, and implement solutions across the organization.

Strong ability to think critically, analyze complex data, and make sound recommendations.

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.

7+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field, with significant experience in a leadership or management role.

Proven experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks and processes.

Experience in conducting risk assessments and regulatory compliance audits.

Previous experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver on risk management and compliance goals.

Preferred

A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CRM, FRM, or PMP) is a plus.
