Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and objectives.
Lead the creation of data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and manufacturing productivity.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations, eCommerce) to ensure that insights are translated into strategic actions that drive commercial impact.
Build and manage advanced analytics capabilities, leveraging data to provide actionable insights for process optimization, predictive maintenance, and daily decision making.
Oversee the development of dashboards and reports that provide visibility into key metrics, such as production efficiency, equipment uptime, and quality control.
Drive predictive and prescriptive analytics to improve operational performance and reduce waste.
Use data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement within cross functional teams.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives using data to support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Develop data privacy and security protocols, ensuring that sensitive operational and intellectual property data is protected.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Build the skills and capabilities of the team to ensure the successful execution of data initiatives.
Use data analytics to optimize the supply chain, enhancing demand forecasting, inventory management, and procurement strategies.
Develop models to predict supply chain risks, material shortages, and demand fluctuations, allowing for proactive mitigation.
Collaborate with quality teams to monitor and analyze production data for defect detection and reduction.
Implement real-time data solutions to monitor product quality and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal quality standards.
Partner with various business units to identify opportunities for leveraging data in decision-making.
Communicate complex data insights in a clear, actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders, driving company-wide adoption of data initiatives.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in data analytics or data science, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
Strong experience with analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experienced in designing and implementing robust business intelligence systems that streamline KPI reporting, enhance data visualization, and support real-time decision-making.
Proficiency in technologies such as BigQuery, DBT, FiveTran, Tableau, Snowflake, PowerBI and related tools.
Knowledge of advanced analytics, machine learning, and data science methodologies.
Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
Ability to drive data culture and influence change across the organization.
Preferred
A Master’s degree or MBA.
