Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and lead a comprehensive, multi-channel fundraising strategy that aligns with Cancer Hope Network’s mission, goals, and vision for growth.
Identify and prioritize diverse funding sources, including individual donors, foundations, corporations, sponsorships, and grants.
Set measurable goals for revenue growth and donor engagement while evaluating and adapting strategies to optimize fundraising success.
Cultivate, steward, and expand relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and other stakeholders to build a robust and sustainable donor pipeline.
Design and execute donor recognition and engagement programs, ensuring personalized, mission-driven interactions that deepen donor connections and inspire increased giving.
Organize and oversee donor-centered activities, outreach, and touchpoints that showcase the impact of their contributions.
Research, identify, and pursue grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and other sources.
Write compelling grant proposals and coordinate cross-departmental input to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Monitor and manage grant funding, including timely submission of required reports, updates, and impact metrics to funders.
Lead the planning, execution, and growth of annual fundraising campaigns, major gift initiatives, and monthly giving programs.
Oversee signature fundraising events, including the annual gala, golf outing, and peer-to-peer/third-party fundraisers, ensuring strategic planning, exceptional execution, and revenue growth.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging campaign materials, donor appeals, and event promotions that elevate brand awareness and donor participation.
Identify and secure corporate sponsorships for campaigns and events, cultivating strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Partner with the Executive Director & COO to develop and manage the fundraising budget, ensuring effective use of resources and accurate forecasting of revenue.
Provide regular reporting and analysis of fundraising progress, donor activity, and revenue results to the Executive Director, COO, and Board of Trustees.
Ensure transparent financial tracking of donations, grants, and event income.
Provide strategic guidance, tools, and support to board members to empower their involvement in donor cultivation, solicitation, and engagement.
Present regular updates on fundraising initiatives, challenges, and opportunities to the board and executive leadership team.
Manage and maintain the donor management system to track and analyze donor data, campaign performance, and revenue trends.
Leverage data insights to inform strategy, strengthen donor retention, and identify growth opportunities.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fundraising to enhance Cancer Hope Network’s development efforts.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or related field.
Minimum of 5–7 years of proven experience in fundraising, development, or related roles, with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
Demonstrated success in donor cultivation, grant writing, event management, and securing major gifts and sponsorships.
Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage diverse audiences.
Proficiency in donor management systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge) and data analysis.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Passion for the mission of Cancer Hope Network and a deep understanding of the nonprofit landscape.
