Responsibilities
Lead the planning and evaluation of fundraising campaigns and activities to ensure alignment with the organization’s mission and fundraising goals.
Identify and steward prospective donors, cultivating long-term relationships and fostering engagement with key community stakeholders.
Work closely with the recruitment team to recruit, train, and manage fundraising volunteers for various fundraising initiatives.
Facilitate weekly meetings with volunteers to ensure efficient coordination and execution of fundraising efforts.
Stay informed on emerging fundraising trends and best practices within the nonprofit sector, adapting strategies as needed.
Build rapport with donors and funding partners through clear communication across multiple platforms, including email, phone, and social media.
Respond promptly to inquiries from donors and staff, ensuring excellent donor relations and service.
Utilize prospect research tools and the donor database to support donor engagement and relationship building.
Draft and edit grant proposals, applications, and other solicitation materials to secure funding for the organization.
Ensure all grant submissions are in line with deadlines and reporting requirements to maintain compliance with funding sources.

Required
up to 10 hours per week of availability
Superb written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on donor relations and volunteer engagement.
Strong time management skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in fundraising software and tools to track donor engagement and manage fundraising activities.
Creative, self-starter attitude with a proven track record of strategic planning and leadership in nonprofit development.
Donor-centered and volunteer-focused approach with a commitment to cultivating long-term relationships.
Experience with grant writing and understanding of grant management processes in the nonprofit sector.
Ability to foster a collaborative environment, working with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
