Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of EHR implementations, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and workflows.

Drive the development, staffing, and implementation of comprehensive EHR solutions for pre- and post-live scenarios.

Serve as the company's expert on the EHR for the purposes of sales and business development, leveraging deep industry knowledge and consulting expertise to create mutually beneficial outcomes.

Support the sales team by providing expert technical insights during pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and the creation of technical proposals.

Collaborate with sales team members to understand client needs and translate into specific job descriptions and project proposals / SOWs as necessary

Serve as an expert on Epic and other EHR platforms, staying abreast of updates, functionalities, and industry trends.

Understand EHR system compliance standards with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and other pertinent standards.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the alignment of EHR solutions with consultant experience and organizational needs.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of EHR solutions in the marketplace.

Monitor financial performance against established goals and make data-driven decisions

Implement continuous improvement and optimization initiatives to enhance the quality and functionality of EHR systems.

Identify and mitigate risks associated with EHR implementations.

Required

Proven knowledge of Epic EHR platforms, integrations, and methodologies

Broad and deep experience across multiple Epic applications across clinical and revenue cycle

Understanding and experience in Implementations, optimization/projects, and production support

Ability to advise on all phases of an EHR implementation including design, build, testing, training, and support within Epic and integrated third party applications

Demonstrated success as a consultant, managing consultants, and / or lead consulting practices

Experience in interviewing and assessing consultant talent to validate technical expertise and cultural fit / alignment with client organizations

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong understanding of healthcare industry trends, especially in the context of new post-implementation trends and M&A integration

Entrepreneurial and interested in growing a successful practice / understanding of economic drivers

Experience in collaborating and managing deliverables in a remote environment

Strong sales acumen with demonstrated success in client engagement delivery

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare information systems, Business Administration, Management, or related field

Minimum 10 years of experience with the success of EHR services

Willingness to travel up to 50%
