Responsibilities
Develop and execute direct-response email marketing strategies that drive sales and revenue.
Craft high-converting email copy that speaks directly to our audience’s needs and motivates action.
Use advanced segmentation and targeting strategies to ensure emails reach the most relevant, high-value audiences.
Continuously optimize campaigns through A/B testing, data analysis, and performance review.
Build and deploy email campaigns using platforms like Iterable and proprietary tools, ensuring each campaign aligns with performance goals.
Work with industry partners and inbox providers to ensure optimal email deliverability and inbox placement.
Track and analyze email performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant email marketing regulations, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
Stay updated on direct-response marketing trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to continuously refine email strategies.

Required
5-10 years of experience in email marketing, with a strong focus on direct-response advertising, ideally in the performance marketing or financial publishing space.
Proven expertise in creating high-performance email campaigns that generate leads, sales, and revenue.
Strong knowledge of A/B testing, segmentation, and performance optimization in direct-response email marketing.
In-depth understanding of email deliverability, inbox placement, and list health.
Experience using email marketing platforms and list management tools, including Iterable, and an ability to leverage automation for improved efficiency and scalability.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset with experience interpreting performance metrics to optimize email campaigns.
Preferred
Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with a knack for crafting compelling, action-oriented marketing copy.
Experience with automated email workflows and advanced targeting strategies is a plus.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email design is a bonus.
Basic knowledge of how to interact with technical teams and communicate technical design documents for feature improvements.
Experience in the performance marketing or financial publishing industries, especially with large, monetized email lists.
Strong understanding of lead generation, list monetization strategies, and affiliate marketing.
Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and best practices in email marketing.
Experience with data analysis platforms such as Google Analytics, Tableau, or proprietary reporting tools.
