Responsibilities
Develop and implement a forward-thinking software engineering strategy
Drive innovation by staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies
Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of software engineers, business analysts, quality assurance analysts, and managers
Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
Oversee all stages of software development projects to ensure timely and successful delivery
Encourage and empower cross-functional collaboration between all teams
Guide managers to deliver exceptional products while fostering growth within their teams
Ensure adherence to architectural best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
Continuously evaluate and refine engineering processes to enhance delivery and system stability
Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor performance and inform data-driven decisions
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team
Identify opportunities to leverage data for improved customer experiences, operational efficiency, and revenue growth
Establish a test-driven development environment with robust data integrity validation
Ensure data security compliance with industry standards for medical and technical field
Effectively communicate complex data insights to diverse stakeholders
Collaborate with stakeholders to document, organize, and expose critical data
Create and maintain documentation for data storage and pipelines
Develop an on-ramp for incorporating advanced technologies such as machine learning, reinforcement learning, and generative AI

Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field
7+ years of experience leading engineering teams
5+ years of experience working in an agile environment
Strong knowledge of estimating and planning methodologies
Proven architectural experience on large-scale projects
Expertise in agile tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
Excellent understanding of cloud-based computing environments
Business-oriented mindset with a focus on internal and external user needs
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
