Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions.
Direct the sales strategy, including implementing sales initiatives that are aligned with the mission of increasing the company’s top and bottom line in existing and new markets
Manage personnel including but not limited to career planning, goal setting, compensation and all related HR matters.
Manage the sales and customer support process to assure the achievement of excellent results.
Develop analytics that tract efforts and report the metrics of success to the rest of the management team including Distribution POS and related analytics.
Develop budget for all sales and marketing activities and participate in the business planning as required by the General Manager of business
Visit potential and existing customers and maintain a “personal” engagement with their personnel. Travel: At least 50-60% of the time including International.
Monitor engineering and production schedules assuring excellent communication with customers.
Maintain accurate sales forecasting of existing and new business.
Maintain customer and account sales history records.
Participate as part of the fabric of Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Executive Management.
Determine the best method to resolve complex customer problems and ensure that open issues get resolved.
Define Marketing initiatives and oversee their implementation and define metrics to measure success.
Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology.
Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services.
Oversee company branding
Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development.
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.
Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
Participate in the development of new project proposals.
Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.
Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.
Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
Promote positive relations internally and externally with partners, vendors, and distributors.
Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.
Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop five year and ten year business plans for the company.
Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
Serve on planning and policy-making committees.
Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.

Required

Combination of a BA/BS/MA/MS Degree in marketing or engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
5+ years of experience in a senior-level sales and or marketing position
Experience in strategic planning and execution.
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule
