Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure new sales opportunities with government clients, including federal, state, and local agencies.
Develop a pipeline of government contracts, RFPs, and bid opportunities for dental products, equipment, and services.
Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and submit compliant proposals and bids.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key government decision-makers, procurement officials, and end users.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all client communications, inquiries, and issue resolution.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
Navigate government procurement rules, regulations, and compliance standards (e.g., GSA schedules, FAR/DFARS compliance).
Oversee contract negotiation, pricing, and terms to ensure profitable and compliant sales agreements.
Manage and track contract performance, including renewal opportunities.
Stay informed on industry trends, government funding initiatives, and new regulations affecting dental sales.
Identify key market trends to position the company’s products and services competitively.
Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth in the government sector.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports to senior management.
Track sales activity using CRM software and maintain records of proposals, contracts, and performance metrics.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, marketing, or a related field
3-7 years of experience in government sales, preferably in the dental, healthcare, or medical device industry.
Proven experience navigating government procurement processes, E-Cats, DLA, Government Distributor networks
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for proposal writing and bid submissions.
