Responsibilities
Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with Big Chicken’s growth objectives.
Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies to enhance restaurant operations and customer engagement.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of in-store technologies, including POS systems, Back-of-House Management systems, kitchen display systems, and network security.
Oversees menu management in our IT systems
Ensure all restaurant locations have reliable, scalable, and secure IT systems.
Manage and enhance digital platforms, including the mobile app, loyalty programs, and online ordering systems.
Optimize the use of analytics to improve customer experience and business decision-making.
Select and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective solutions.
Negotiate contracts and service level agreements.
Ensure IT operations comply with data protection regulations and industry standards.
Lead cybersecurity initiatives to safeguard customer and company data.
Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry
Proven expertise in managing POS systems, CRM platforms, and enterprise-wide IT solutions
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data analytics, and cloud computing
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
