Responsibilities
Set the organization’s marketing strategy and oversee its implementation and measurement
Be the brand steward, fostering a culture of authenticity, integrity, mindfulness, and solution-based growth mindset
Provide hands-on leadership of a remote marketing team; hire, coach, and motivate the team for success and growth including KPI accountability
Develop strategy and tactics to Identify and penetrate new B2B and B2C markets
Create and execute marketing approach for new product launches
Work directly with key external partners on cross-promoting of brands and/or applicable efforts that support the AVID mission
Ensure Marketing is provided with research and data to effectively develop insight-led activities, approaches, and assets to enable sales and position solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business development, sales, and product) to support go-to-market strategies for existing and new products, programs, and services
Effectively develop, manage, and track yearly marketing related investment budgets to maximize brand awareness and product sales
Partner with and manage external marketing resources to add capacity in brand management including design, content, and video development
Develop and manage marketing standard operating procedures development and implementation
Direct and support the planning and coordination of trade shows, applicable events, and other campaigns to strengthen and further brand awareness while supporting sales efforts
Contribute as an active member of a dynamic leadership team

Required
Hands-on marketing innovator with experience in both B2B and B2C marketing
Depth of knowledge across all marketing disciplines
Proven track record as a motivating and effective leader
Experience in setting marketing strategy and overseeing implementation and measurement
Ability to lead a remote marketing team and drive team success
Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies for new product launches
Collaboration with external partners for cross-promotion
Knowledge of research and data-driven marketing
Collaboration with cross-functional teams for go-to-market strategies
Budget management for marketing investments
Experience in managing external marketing resources
Development and implementation of marketing standard operating procedures
Planning and coordination of trade shows and events
Contribution as an active member of a leadership team
Preferred
Proven leader in developing high-performance marketing teams
Experience in creating and executing complex B2B and B2C marketing plans
Creative and innovative with a track record of marketing transformation
Knowledge of inbound and outbound marketing
Values-driven with a focus on excellence and integrity
Understanding of visual design, copy and content development, production, advertising, and brand management
Technical knowledge including proficiency with HubSpot, familiarity with Shopify, understanding of UX/UI, expertise in Adobe and Microsoft D365 tools
Ability to provide hands-on marketing asset direction and development
Effective remote manager and collaborator
