Responsibilities

Develop a pipeline of qualified prospects large enough to meet or exceed financial goals.

Leverage knowledge and relationships with brands and sponsorship agencies to develop revenue opportunities.

Using an understanding of client marketing needs and AEW capabilities to articulate AEW’s value proposition.

Identify client business challenges and translate them into opportunities to sell AEW partnerships & sponsorship solutions.

Manage client relationships from initial pitch through transition/onboarding onto long-term engagements of ongoing strategic management and leadership.

Creatively explore upsell/leverage opportunities with existing sponsorship and media partners.

Build deep, trusted relationships/partnerships with sponsorship decision-makers within brands and their agencies to serve their interactive marketing needs.

Accurately forecast revenue and proactively mediate challenges that impede sales growth.

Required

Bachelor’s degree required

5+ years of sponsorship sales experience

Proven track record of successfully closing six and seven-figure media deals

Strong knowledge of the sponsorship/media landscape, including industry trends, key players, and terminology, with the ability to craft integrated marketing plans and solutions

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the creation of convincing and strategic sales approaches, proposals, documentation, and presentations

Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to travel as required by partner needs
