Responsibilities

Create, train, and lead a Team that performs construction activities safely and to a standard established by both the company and the client

Exhibit technical experience on design-build and design-bid-build general contracting construction. Experience in Federal construction will be looked at more favorably

Have an in-depth understanding for subcontract terms and conditions

Understand construction financials and effectively manage a profit and loss (P&L) statement/account

Have experience in Business Development and Capture activities associated with pipeline opportunity creation and management, estimating, and proposal development

Participates in strategic planning and the implementation of strategic initiatives

Perform other duties as assigned associated with the oversight and management of the regional book of work

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters

Ability to work independently and recommend solutions to problems

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Projects

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while attending to multiple tasks and demands

In-depth understanding of government contracting processes, regulations (such as FAR, DFARS), and compliance requirements

Advanced leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve performance targets and strategic objectives

Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally

Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement operational strategies driven by data analytics that drive business growth and success

Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accuracy and compliance in all operational activities, informed by data analysis

Be willing to travel to project sites as necessary

Have an in-depth understanding of construction risk management

Have at least five (5) years of senior P&L experience in the construction industry

Have an architecture, engineering, or construction degree from a four-year college or applicable experience
