Responsibilities

Own procedure and process development and champion continual improvement across the company

Administer quarterly and annual planning cadence, including OKR processes and system QBRs

Own the execution and completion of the annual SOC 2 audit, serving as the key point of contact

Lead the implementation and integration of new tools for cross-functional usage

Ensure teams follow standard operating procedures for access and data security, acting as the guardian for access controls

Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with existing policies

Manage contract negotiation with vendors and clients, eventually becoming the in-house contracting expert

Lead HIPAA or related data security investigations and responses to customer inquiries

Manage state, federal, and international business registrations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

Required

5+ years of experience in operations, to include process and procedures building, experience in system administration and vendor implementation, compliance support, or an audit function

Familiarity with data security best practices and access control enforcement

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex compliance requirements

An understanding of cloud-based technologies

Excellent documentation habits and abilities

Ability to influence others towards desirable outcomes and results

A drive to build and shape the EngagedMD operational processes and compliance function

A mission-driven orientation to all you do

Superior written and verbal communication skills

Ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced organization

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent career experience
