Responsibilities
Lead grant management processes, applications, reporting, and compliance with grant guidelines.
Coordinate operational activities for projects, ensuring objectives are met and projects are completed on time.
Oversee all aspects of organizational operations, including technological innovations, process improvement, and compliance.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives in alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and streamline workflows across operational areas.
Ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and organizational policies, and mitigate operational risks.
Leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.

Required
Licensed Attorney in State of Minnesota: This is a must-have qualification for understanding the legal complexities of the organization's work and providing legal oversight when necessary.
Leadership Experience: Experience in a senior management or leadership role within a legal aid organization or a similar nonprofit environment.
Operations Management: Proven track record in operational management, including overseeing daily operations, strategic planning, and implementing organizational policies and procedures.
Grants Management: Experience in grant oversight, grant writing, budgeting, and grant reporting. Knowledge of nonprofit grants management, financial planning, cultivating donor relationships and fundraising strategies would be beneficial.
Team Leadership and Development: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.
Strategic Planning and Execution: Experience in strategic planning, goal setting, and execution, with a focus on achieving organizational objectives and enhancing organizational effectiveness.
Program Development and Evaluation: Experience in program development, evaluation, and impact assessment, ensuring programs align with organizational goals and effectively serve the community.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, including staff, board members, donors, volunteers, and community partners, to advance the organization's mission.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant technologies and software used in nonprofit management, operations, and legal aid work.
Commitment to Social Justice: A strong commitment to social justice and advancing the rights of disadvantaged and underserved populations.
