Responsibilities
Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on payroll-related initiatives and trends.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and resolving escalations effectively.
Drive initiatives to enhance payroll operations, leveraging technology and best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Oversee payroll processing for all clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery across multi-state jurisdictions.
Maintain a deep understanding of payroll complexities unique to PEOs, including co-employment relationships and benefits integration.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.

Required
Experience in payroll leadership at a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and HR outsourcing services organization.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to manage and develop talent.
Proficiency in UKG Ready.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience leading change management initiatives, including process transformations and system implementations.
Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and propose effective payroll solutions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple client relationships and sales processes.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, human resource management, or a related field.
8+ years of payroll experience in PEO, HR Outsourcing, or a related field with a PEO or similar environment.
Preferred
Experience with external clients in payroll processing.
