Responsibilities

Work across multiple live and upcoming titles from PlayStation Studios, partnering closely with game studios and other partners to help effectively build out capabilities and successfully launch and manage their live service titles.

Engage with game teams on everything from high level product and commercial strategy to evaluating design specs and mockups, engaging closely on product prioritization and roadmaps.

Identify opportunities for product performance growth for various titles, influence key stakeholders, and drive initiatives to a successful outcome through strong relationships.

Develop and share best practices to help game studios stand up and evolve their processes and capabilities.

Define and drive core KPIs in partnership with other publishing level resources (game analytics, user research, marketing, etc).

Manage, develop, and grow a small team of product management and live service design talent, leading and inspiring a highly skilled team.

Connect development teams across PlayStation studios to the latest competitive research, analyze industry trends, and define best practices.

Function as a conduit between multiple studios to foster knowledge sharing and deeper collaboration.

Help define the processes and methodologies used centrally to level up our product management craft and improve the way we build and operate live service games.

Required

Strong experience in product management and/or live service design focused on feature development and live operations.

Seasoned people leader with an ability to manage, lead and inspire a highly skilled team.

Demonstrated track record of success driving initiatives that positively impact core KPIs.

Expert data fluency and track record of partnering with analytics, research, and insights groups

Experience with game economy and/or monetization modeling and experience with analytical tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, etc.).

Diverse development experience spanning different types of games, genres, and business models (F2P, paid, cosmetic economy, etc.).

Expert navigator between creative and insights with proven ability to bridge the gap between insights and generating creative solutions.

Expertise and a wealth of knowledge of industry trends and the competitor landscape.

Ability to understand, conceptualize, and improve the design of game systems, features, and mechanics, providing recommendations to shape the direction of the product.

Experience working across products at different development stages (incubation, live operations, etc.).

Experience working with publishing partners (marketing, release management, store, etc.).

Experience partnering with leadership/executives at a studio and publishing level.
