Responsibilities
Oversee content direction and creation for bespoke market research engagements on behalf of clients and for in-house usage
Compose ongoing and bespoke deliverables for in-house and client usage
Coverage may include any combination of subscription and or ad-hoc project based research products covering various Power, Renewable Fuel, Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), and/or sustainability markets
Direct the product strategy for a subscription-based data product, inclusive of content and feature updates
Build and maintain multivariate models for all classes of environmental commodity, power, capacity, and renewable fuels markets across the US and Canada.
Track and analyze pertinent legislation, policy, and regulation impacting energy and environmental markets.
Guide and perform quality control, and identify new product/methodology growth opportunities.
Assist go-to-market team with marketing and sales strategy to secure new clients for bespoke engagements and data product subscriptions, while supporting the management and expansion of existing client relationships and partnerships.
Build and maintain relationships with key regulatory and market players, as well as third-party media and market watchers.

Required
8-10+ years’ experience within power, renewables, and/or environmental commodity research and analysis
Demonstrated track record in creating content and building multivariate models within the power, clean fuels, and/or environmental markets space
2+ years’ experience managing a team of analysts
Excellent written, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Bachelor and/or graduate degree in Energy Markets, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Environmental Science, Mathematics, or related fields
Advanced Microsoft Excel and coding skills skills (i.e. VBA, Python, C++, SQL, etc.)
