Responsibilities

Proactively and analytically build and manage a strategic sales approach for key strategic accounts;
Drive continuous and in-depth engagement with key accounts;
Analyze and understand customer organizations in great detail and work jointly alongside the customer teams to drive engagement;
Own and work through the entire sales life cycle for important strategic accounts in the region;
Work directly together with the Customer Success team to identify and close opportunities with existing customers;
Closely monitor market- and customer trends to drive Assaia’s product, brand and market share in the region;
Plan and conduct remote and on-site customer meetings;
Engage with related internal teams, such as Project Management, Customer Success and IT to successfully close sales projects;
Represent Assaia during industry events;
Liaise with Assaia partner companies for new opportunities;
Independently manage all necessary administrative tasks, such as travel arrangements, account qualification and sales analytics.

Required

10-15 years experience in complex sales, at least 5 years in a Senior Level role in an Aviation-IT-related environment, or a comparable experience in a Senior Management role within an airline or airport organization in North America
Very strong and proven track-record of effectively closing enterprise deals with complex customer organizations or alternatively successfully initiating and delivering large-scale transformative programs within airlines or airports
Very strong ability to navigate and work with different hierarchies within enterprise organizations, building strong rapport with various levels of management
Self-confident person with a customer-centric mindset and strong character to communicate with senior level management
Very likeable and highly empathetic
Strong self-motivation and self-management capabilities with a highly proactive attitude
Ability and willingness for extensive domestic & international travel
Can operate in a multicultural work environment
Native-speaker in English is a must
Must have an unrestricted ability to work in the United States
Must have the ability to travel freely to and from the United States and Canada as well as all other countries in North-, Latin- and South-America

Preferred

Previous experience of working in a very high-paced growth-company work environment
Extensive network within the aviation industry
Business fluent command of French, Spanish or Portuguese is a strong benefit. Any other language is a bonus
Strong analytical skills
Located within the Continental USA, most preferably in the eastern time zone
