Responsibilities

Develops ALP’s sales strategy and contributes to the creation of a business plan that advances ALP’s long-term vision and strategic objectives
Develops and monitors a sales process that drives accountability and continuous improvement
Aligns business development activities with sales strategies
Collaborates with business partners to develop and maintain responsive systems that support clients’ goals
Drives direct-to-market business through oversight of the ALP RFP solicitation process
Leverages and expands a diverse network of K-12 leaders
Expands partnerships contributing to ALP’s influence and reach within the educational sector
Fosters trust-based client partnerships that enhance company values
Collaborates with ALP’s senior leadership to develop customized solutions that align with market trends, client goals and ALP’s strategic priorities
Collaborates with ALP leadership to motivate and inspire the team to execute change initiatives and achieve ambitious company outcomes
Facilitates the collaboration of ALP colleagues and teams to ensure implementation of the sales strategy/business plan aligns to ALP’s growth objectives
Shares knowledge with ALP colleagues to reinforce brand alignment, enhance impact, and optimize outreach efforts

Required

Master’s degree in Education, Business, or related field preferred; Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience considered.
7-15 years of experience in sales and business development, ideally within K-12 consulting or EdTech.
Demonstrated success in building client relationships and executing strategic sales plans.
Strong data analysis, strategic planning, and relationship-building skills.
Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in Salesforce, Monday.com (or other comparable CRM or PM platforms), Google Workplace and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
