Responsibilities

Direct/Manage/Supervise all aspects of the organization's network systems including software and hardware.

Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of networks that support in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services.

Define network strategy and oversee technical architecture and infrastructure planning, ensuring business requirements are met.

Work closely with other departments and executives to ensure that the network is capable of handling projected customer need and work to resolve technical problems and malfunctions.

Analyze network from a cost, capacity, and forecasting perspective, and evaluate new network technologies and applications.

Monitor the health and performance of all telecommunications and networking devices, identify communications issues, make recommendations, and take corrective action to resolve issues.

Collaborate with other departments to prioritize network engineering needs.

Evaluate results within business unit to determine if organizational objectives are being met.

Assists executives and/or senior directors in defining organizational goals and strategic plans.

Extensive business knowledge with comprehensive understanding of the organization and functional area.
