Responsibilities

Lead the design of the Yuvoice mobile and web platforms, focusing on user flow, interaction design, and aesthetic integrity of the platform.

Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma and ensure that designs are user-friendly, screen responsive and visually engaging.

Conduct usability testing, gather insights from user feedback, and iterate on design improvements.

Mentor and manage a team of UX Designers and UX Researchers, ensuring high design standards and consistency .

Collaborate with Product Directors and cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, product managers) to ensure alignment with product goals and technical feasibility.

Develop and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across mobile and web platforms, working closely with Flutter developers to ensure smooth implementation.

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging tools, particularly in UI design and Figma, to continually enhance the Yuvoice user experience.

Document design decisions and methodologies, ensuring clarity for the team and stakeholders.

Required

5+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio showcasing strong user-centric design solutions.

Expert proficiency in Figma with advanced knowledge of its features and collaborative design capabilities.

Experience designing for mobile and web, with a strong understanding of responsive design and Flutter.

Experience conducting user research and applying findings to refine designs.

Leadership experience, including mentoring junior designers and managing design projects.

Strong visual design skills with attention to detail and knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Passion for civic engagement and social impact.

Familiarity with agile development processes and front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
