Responsibilities
Investigate and analyze claimants' medical conditions, occupational demands, and policy provisions to determine eligibility and entitlement to disability benefits. Identify discrepancies and secure additional documentation as needed to make decisions on new, continuing, and maintenance claims.
Develop and execute strategies to manage claims efficiently, contain liability, and ensure claims are resolved in a timely manner. Provide responsive customer service, ensuring that each claimant’s medical condition and policy provisions are carefully considered.
Provide clear and accurate claim information to claimants, policyholders, and other stakeholders. Resolve issues and respond to inquiries effectively through written and verbal communication.
Ensure accurate claim payment by identifying deductible income and maintaining correct system data.

Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two years of experience in disability benefits administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a remote setting.
Preferred
Associate degree.
