Responsibilities
Help develop, update, and improve the existing plans
Incorporate best practices
Make the plans more relevant to the realities of climate change
Assist the Provincial Disaster Officer with providing technical and institutional support
Strengthen linkages for effective coordination from the National and Provincial levels to the Area Administrators

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Planning and Management, Information Technology, or any related field.
Experience in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM).
2 years of experience in DRRM & EWS program planning or capacity-building activities.
Experience in using or conducting training on GIS Software for hazard mapping, and reporting systems.
Excellent people skills and flexible attitude when it comes to dealing with the community.
Experience working in development or other low-resource contexts
