Responsibilities
Design and implement large-scale machine learning pipelines using Java and Python, as well as a wide range of internal tools built on top of Apache Spark, TensorFlow, and other Big Data technologies.
Utilize expertise in machine learning systems, including crafting machine learning models such as neural networks, decision trees, and other methodologies, and translating conceptual ideas into actual solutions.
Make critical technical decisions, shape roadmaps and visions, and guide teams through the orchestration of large, high-impact projects in application to the Network Assurance Roadmap.
Navigate the complexities of large-scale production environments, ensuring the seamless integration of machine learning models into internet-scale services.
Harmonize the efforts of cross-functional teams, including researchers, data scientists, and machine learning infrastructure teams, to create synergy between business goals and technology innovation.

Required
15+ years of software development experience
Deep understanding of machine learning systems
Proficiency in crafting machine learning models including neural networks, decision trees, etc.
Fluency in machine learning frameworks such as SKLearn, XGBoost, PyTorch, or Tensorflow
Proficiency in Java and/or Python
Ability to make critical technical decisions and shape roadmaps for machine learning projects
Experience in guiding teams through high-impact projects
Track record of integrating machine learning models into large-scale production environments
Ability to harmonize efforts of cross-functional teams
Mastering the lifecycle of machine learning from conceptualization to deployment
Preferred
Experience in Data Science, Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Experience with Apache Spark and other Big Data technologies
Experience in Full-Stack Observability (FSO)
Experience in network optimization
Experience in internet-scale services
Experience in orchestrating machine learning pipelines
Experience in working with researchers, data scientists, and machine learning infrastructure teams
Experience in continual refinement of machine learning models
