Distribution Center Quality Engineer

Responsibilities
Control the Quality of the product before delivery to the dealers.
Trains subcontractor for Arrival/final inspections on Manitou equipment.
Assist PDC operators during new option installation.
Kit preparation: prepare the kits and instructions before processing.
Troubleshoot defective units, define repair parts list and organize the repair.
Verify the compatibility of the kits and suggest adjustment accordingly.
Supports product evolution training and associated documentation.
Prepare or modify option assembly instructions.
Maintain inventory maintenance parts.
Ability to use ERP/PLM/CAD software (viewer), office suite.
Other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required
Experience resolving equipment and process-related production issues.
Knowledge of quality engineering policies, principles and best practices.
Experience working with electrical and mechanical designs requirements and specification especially with heavy duty equipment.
Experience understanding technical documentation about electric and hydraulic operating systems.
Significant background in mobile equipment troubleshooting.
Problem solving, detail oriented, and analytical skills will be an asset.
Able to self-prioritize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously that aligns with Manitou’s objectives.
Excellent communication and capacity to train people.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 3 years experience in quality leadership, manufacturing, and production quality, especially with heavy duty equipment will be preferred.
Effectively and professionally interfaces with internal and external customers.
Participates in technical discussions between cross functional teams.
Ability to work with subcontractors, dealers, and suppliers.
Able to obtain The Transportation Worker Identification Credential(TWIC).
Preferred
Knowledge of Google Suite is highly desirable.
Experience using ERP/ PLM / CAD software (viewer), office suite.
