Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement distribution systems and solutions.
Analyze existing distribution networks and identify areas for improvement.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in distribution engineering or a related discipline.
Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of electrical distribution systems.
Knowledge of joint construction and electric utility best practices.
Understanding of Electric Distribution construction framing techniques, practices, and components.
Proficient in using surveying equipment and gathering geospatial points.
Ability to interpret property line boundaries, topographic surveys, construction staking, and collection of geospatial points.
Utilization of electronic design/estimation software for cost estimates, labor, material units, work instructions, and construction sketches.
Experience in researching and collecting property deed information for easement evaluation and property boundary definition.
Familiarity with the NESC and its application to electric distribution line design.
