Responsibilities

Provides information to store management on promotional activity, business opportunities, and competitive information.

Manages controllable costs by educating managers, collaborating with Marketing, and ensuring timely execution of promotions.

Ensures store operations are profitable by managing cash, merchandise variation, and other expenses.

Protects employees, customers, and company assets by maintaining a safe environment and enforcing safety practices.

Provides leadership and direction to store managers, assists in recruiting and employee development, and establishes job expectations.

Enhances professional knowledge by attending workshops and contributing to team effort in achieving financial targets.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.

3-5 years of retail business experience or more preferred; including minimum of 2 years of management responsibility.

Experience With MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint And Word Preferred.

Must have demonstrated leadership ability, good communication skills, be self-directed, self-motivated and customer service oriented.

Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.

Ability to supervise and train Store Managers in use of store equipment, tools and materials.

Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the SM job description.

A current valid driver's license is required to operate a company vehicle.
