Responsibilities

Provide technical and programmatic expertise to docking system programs.

Review and provide feedback on docking system design, architecture, and concept of operations, identifying areas of high technical, schedule, or financial risk.

Advise on possible solutions to mitigate or eliminate risks.

Review and provide feedback on technical and programmatic strategies to address customer and commercial requirements and expectations.

Required

Extensive experience in architecture of docking systems suitable for Deep Space Exploration and assembly of complex space structures.

PhD in Structural Engineering.

15+ years in project and technical management in areas of system engineering, hardware manufacturing, integration, and testing.

NASA docking system technical expert with NASA experience specific to docking concepts and standards development, qualification, and flight certification.
