Domestic/Federal Tax Senior Manager - Partnership Tax

Responsibilities

Performing federal, state, local tax return review, tax regulations, tax compliance and tax consulting issues;
Understanding partnership and partner tax allocations;
Understanding foreign reporting requirements including information returns and foreign withholding for all entities;
Monitoring tax compliance requirements across multiple domestic and international entities, and managing ongoing tax audits;
Conducting tax research including strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risks, solving complex issues impacting tax returns, determining proper tax return treatment/presentation and review related technical tax memorandum;
Working with financial statements as well as transaction level journal entry detail and overall accounting skills;
Understanding financial systems, business processes, organization structure and the legal structure as it relates to filing requirements and planning opportunities for the Firm and all of its related entities;
Coordinating with other departments within the Firm to prepare, review, and analyzing reports necessary for preparation of the Firm's tax returns;
Innovating through new and existing technologies, as well as experimenting with digitization solutions;
Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to firm leadership;
Utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize processes;
Creating a positive environment, monitoring workloads of team members, providing meaningful feedback in a timely manner, and participating in the hiring process to help establish a department with high quality staff;
Keeping leadership informed of progress and issues;
Collaborating with team members virtually, including managing and supporting the work/life balance of the team; and,
Building relationships with other groups and stakeholders across the Firm.

Required
Bachelor's Degree
