Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Drupal-based websites, including custom modules and themes.

Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to create responsive, scalable, and user-friendly web solutions.

Upgrade and maintain existing Drupal sites, including migrations to newer versions (e.g., Drupal 9/10).

Integrate third-party APIs and services into Drupal applications.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across environments.

Implement SEO best practices and optimize site performance.

Develop reusable code and libraries for future use.

Ensure cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.

Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery and participate in sprint planning and reviews.

Document technical specifications and development processes.

Required

Strong experience with Drupal 8/9/10 architecture, module development, and theming.

Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Familiarity with Drupal APIs and custom module development.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Knowledge of responsive web design principles.

Ability to write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.

Experience in database design and optimization.

Experience with Acquia Cloud, Pantheon, or other Drupal hosting platforms.

Experience with frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.

Knowledge of Twig templating engine.

Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools like Docker.

Experience with RESTful services and GraphQL.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience in Drupal development.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Federal Experience is a plus.
