Responsibilities
Develop technical design and programming specifications to meet functional analysis.
Develop/modify application and/or database components per technical design and programming specs according to department standards.
Perform system configuration and vendor software version maintenance as needed.
Follow appropriate source version control, migration, and deployment procedures for newly developed or modified application components.
Analyze and interpret business requirements for task estimation and application development.
Perform problem analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting to determine cause and resolve reported application and data issues.
Unit Tests all development.
Hold code reviews and participate in same held by other team members or vendors.
Provides value-added solutions to support TDC's mission - 'Cost/benefit analysis'
Maximizes performance while upholding and encouraging behaviors consistent with TDC's mission & values.
Communicates company values, beliefs and norms to team members on an ongoing basis.
Serves as a role model for company values.
Provide assistance with application problem analysis, technical solutions/alternatives, evaluating design proposals, and reviewing program code.
Development was delivered on time per specifications.
Project deliveries maintained a balance of scope, schedule, and cost along with a strong focus around quality and the achievement of business outcomes.
Coach, mentor, and motivate project team and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their tasks/projects while supporting overall team to identify and achieve corporate goals, department goals and development goals.
Communicates and delivers ongoing/timely feedback to project team regarding their performance.
Monitor roles and responsibilities of the project team.
Stay well informed of current and emerging technologies / technology trends.
Manages and prioritizes assigned project and department related functions and tasks.
Tracks system feature/function updates as assigned; coordinating with business or other team members as appropriate.
Estimate tasks required for application development, track progress against estimates, and report status.
Design, develop and propose a plan to implement new/modified IT products and services in conjunction with other departments, plan includes: Production Implementation Process, Software evaluation, design, develop, test, and monitor effectiveness.
Available for any and all duties, accepts delegated tasks readily and completes assigned duties as directed.

Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Computer Science.
Five years experience with Duck Creek.
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and set variables.
Interface with users and relevant Development and Quality Assurance stakeholders to ensure the timely compilation, packaging, and delivery of software products.
Project/Product Management experience.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Must show a commitment to excellence and possess strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills, as well as written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to use software development tools.
Ability to use data retrieval and analysis tools.
Ability to test and debug software.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and practices.
Experience with using software design patterns.
Knowledge of objected-oriented and data modeling concepts, as well as relational table design.
Programming languages based on the Microsoft .NET platform, Windows Forms such as C# and Visual Basic, with C# preferred, and/or develop web-based applications, including design, coding, and troubleshooting using HTML, XML, XLST, ASP, CSS and JavaScript.
