Responsibilities
Collaborate with Marketing & Sales for technical information creation and project opportunities
Provide technical support on product use, troubleshooting, and compliance
Support design, specification & installation with Mechanical Engineers & Contractors
Develop tools like calculators to communicate product value
Lead product testing, documentation efforts, and maintain compliance
Advance Sustainability & Innovation initiatives like LEED compliance
Establish involvement with industry associations to stay current on design requirements
Provide support for product education, installation, and technical needs

Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physical Science from an accredited university
At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in providing technical support, facilitating testing & authoring related documentation for building material products
Fluid mechanics and thermodynamics knowledge
Understanding of principles of Heat Transfer & Psychrometrics
Ability to gain an in-depth understanding of product features and benefits
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail; ability to multi-task and prioritize
Strong communication skills, effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Experience and proficiency with business computer applications (Microsoft Office)
Valid driver’s license with record clean enough to be acceptable to our insurance carrier
Preferred
Experience with HVAC & mechanical insulation
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write complex reports and correspondence
Ability to communicate orally and written in English
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Ability to forecast accurately
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in non-standardized situations
