Required

Proven experience in DWDM network implementations and migrations, specifically with Infinera and Cisco NCS platforms.

Strong understanding of optical transport technologies, including WDM, OTN, and Ethernet-over-optical transport.

Hands-on experience configuring and managing Cisco NCS platforms, including 1000 series.

Knowledge of optical signal design, amplification, and troubleshooting tools (e.g., OTDR, OSA).

Familiarity with fiber optic networking concepts, such as attenuation, dispersion, and DWDM channel planning.

Ability to perform under tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.

Preferred

Cisco certifications such as CCNP Service Provider or Cisco Certified Specialist in Optical Networking.

Experience working in high-availability environments, such as service providers, enterprises, or data centers.

Understanding of network monitoring and management tools compatible with Cisco NCS.
