Responsibilities

The intern will assist with writing and editing study helps for a scriptures-related app.

The intern will also help mark up scripture source files and help develop computer-based workflow and quality checks for scriptures in all languages.

Other assignments related to scriptures and general conference document files are likely.

Required

Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation.

They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.

Applicants must be currently or recently enrolled in an editing-related field.

Must have strong editorial and writing skills in English.

Applicants must either have some knowledge of the XSL programming language or have an aptitude for coding and a willingness to learn it.

Preferred

Knowledge of one or more other human languages or of linguistics in general is helpful.

Expert-level skill is not required. Ongoing training on company time will be provided.
