Responsibilities
Oversee the development of all editorial products for the brand including print magazine, website, e-newsletters, and social channels.
Manage an editorial team of writers and contributors, editing their work to ensure quality, consistency, and style conformity.
Research and write feature stories, editor's letter, and other content for print and digital offerings, including social channels.
Effectively collaborate with internal shared services teams to develop and deliver engaging content.
Serve as the brand’s ambassador at industry events (e.g., making presentations, serving as a panel moderator or event host, , etc.).
Manage the freelance editorial and travel & expense budgets for the brand.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related industry field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a business/trade editor or equivalent.
Experience with digital and print content development, as well as magazine production processes.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and SEO tactics.
Can identify unique needs of the audience (both readers and sponsors).
Deadline-focused.
Can function as an independent contributor in a team structure.
Detail-oriented.
Self-motivated.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team of writers/contributors and inspire them to create quality content.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain consistent level of quality.
Takes responsibility and follows through to deliver results.
Possesses multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Able to transform strategic visions into finished projects/products.
