Electrical Engineer- Arc Flash

Responsibilities
Coordinate with a team of field engineers to capture electrical systems information in manufacturing facilities.
Arc Flash Hazard Analysis: Perform arc flash hazard analysis and generate reports and labels to customer specifications using software such as SKM.
Assist in preparing proposals and presenting to clients.
Manage and oversee multiple electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members. Conduct technical reviews and ensure the accuracy and quality of engineering deliverables.
Ensure all electrical systems and projects comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct safety audits and risk assessments as needed.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide technical solutions. Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and documentation.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical engineering processes.

Required
Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and/or construction.
Knowledge of electrical power and distribution systems including primary power, lighting, fire, security, and control systems.
Experience in performing electrical power studies such as load flow, short circuit, device coordination, and arc flash using software such as SKM is required, other systems include ETAP, or Easypower.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.
