Responsibilities
Lead the electrical design on multi-discipline new construction and retrofit projects
Develop, review, and audit basis of design, construction specifications, construction drawings, 3D design and construction models, submittals, and electrical engineering system study reports
Perform value engineering utilizing alternative means and methods while maintaining system functionality
Perform technical bid evaluation for electrical equipment and installation proposals
Assist project control team in developing, reviewing, and updating electrical design, procurement, and installation schedule
Review field observation reports from electrical contractors and conduct periodic field investigations
Present technical material for review by technical and non-technical audiences
Participate in developing electrical design guidelines and improvement initiatives

Required
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
5+ years of relevant professional experience for buildings-related design projects
In depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards such as NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, etc
Ability to manage projects and prioritize effectively, balance assigned work and exceptional organization skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively deliver findings and recommendations to cross-functional
Preferred
Battery manufacturing, semi-conductor manufacturing, petrochemical plant design experience is plus
