Responsibilities

Architect, design and develop multimedia frameworks across the processors available on the SoC.

Develop high-performance system drivers for compute resources.

Work closely with the global team to integrate, test, and support embedded software.

Offsite and occasional onsite work with OEMs and Independent Software Vendors may be required.

Apply software knowledge to assist in the design, development, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utility programs.

Analyze user needs and software requirements.

Design and implement small software features for products and systems.

Participate in the design, coding, unit testing, debugging fixes, and integration efforts to ensure project completion.

Assist in code reviews, regression tests, and issue triaging for code quality.

Collaborate with project team members to achieve project objectives.

Write technical documentation for software projects.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

7+ years experience in programming in C/C++

7+ years experience in operating systems and multi-threaded programming

7+ years experience in hardware drivers

7+ years experience in developing, debugging, profiling, and optimizing for embedded real-time environments

7+ years experience in inter-processor communications

7+ years experience in computer architecture

7+ years experience in multimedia software development experience on Android, Windows or Linux

7+ years experience in shell/Python scripting

7+ years experience in test automation and software integration

Preferred

1+ year of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

1+ year of experience with Database Management Software

1+ year of experience with API

1+ year of work experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management System
