Responsibilities
Design and develop embedded hardware systems including microcontrollers, microprocessors, sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software engineers, firmware engineers, and product designers) to define system requirements and architecture.
Conduct feasibility studies and prototyping to evaluate design concepts, components, and technologies for embedded systems.
Perform schematic capture, PCB layout design, and circuit analysis using tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad.
Select components, peripherals, and sensors based on performance requirements, cost considerations, and availability.
Develop test plans, procedures, and specifications for hardware validation and verification.
Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of embedded systems to identify and resolve hardware-related issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., EMC/EMI, safety certifications) in hardware designs.
Document design specifications, test results, and technical documentation for hardware components and systems.
Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in embedded hardware design and development.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience as an Embedded Hardware Engineer, Hardware Design Engineer, or similar role designing and developing embedded systems.
Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design, PCB layout, signal integrity, and power management.
Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad).
Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M series, PIC, AVR) and microprocessors (e.g., ARM Cortex-A series, Intel processors).
Familiarity with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, and wireless protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
Hands-on experience with lab equipment for testing and debugging (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
