Responsibilities
Conduct and facilitate complex, sensitive, and time-critical employee relations investigations related to harassment and discrimination.
Partner with HR Business Partners and internal counsel concerning employee relations issues.
Utilize expert knowledge of U.S. HR policies/procedures and employment law to provide timely and efficient solutions tailored to the client’s business operations.
Source and review related documents, document investigative paths, recommendations, and resolutions, and write clear, concise, and legally defensible investigative summaries.
Serve as an objective third party in reviewing terminations and disciplinary actions.
Engage relevant stakeholders, provide trusted advice, and recommend remedial measures as appropriate.
Work closely with cross-functional HR partners and other business partners, including IT security, risk, compliance, audit, and legal as needed.
Ensure fair and consistent employment practices are in place and being followed; may provide large-scale or 1:1 training as appropriate.
Design, deliver, and execute large-scale projects or initiatives that promote positive management practices across the enterprise.
Conduct research and benchmarking related to projects, initiatives, and process improvements to drive positive employee relations and management practices.
Create and track data to identify trends and recommend remedial actions.
Keep abreast of legal and regulatory requirements and update related policies accordingly.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of HR and employment relations experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
Proven track record in conducting and facilitating complex, sensitive, and time-critical employee relations investigations related to harassment and discrimination.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both HR and business teams.
