Responsibilities

Responsible for EMR end user access provisioning and administration of associated technologies and processes.

Analyze, design, build, test, train, go live, and provide production support for Security related systems and processes.

Recognize and escalate issues related to EMR security and user provisioning, proposing solutions.

Participate in an on-call rotation for off-hour work functions supporting incidents, upgrades, and project tasks.

Troubleshoot end-user issues, workflow problems, and enhancement requests for departmental users and medical staff.

Manage and maintain standard security configurations, security classes, and templates.

Perform daily EMR security administration functions, including managing access requests and monitoring access log files.

Keep security standards updated with the latest releases and apply security changes to production.

Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and develop working relationships with internal and external partners.

Prioritize workload, collaborate with team members, and assist in security-related activities and meetings.

Identify opportunities to improve security functions and processes, advise personnel on security access, and assist in IT project assignments.

Required

Associate's Degree in Business, Nursing, Information Systems (IS), or related field

Two (2) years of related experience

Other Certification for assigned application should be obtained within designated timeframe per policy
