Responsibilities
Providing installation and post-installation support for AFIS and Facial Recognition Systems.
Offering first-level hardware and software support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues on-site and remotely.
Troubleshooting and repairing Livescan fingerprint capture workstations at customer sites.
Analyzing system logs to identify problems and suggest effective solutions.
Ensuring high customer satisfaction through professional and effective communication.
Installing patches and upgrades for AFIS applications.
Providing on-call support and keeping customers informed with timely updates and resolutions.
Collaborating with customers to offer training and ensuring system functionality and efficiency.

Required
Experience with Windows and Linux servers
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to support AFIS products both on-site and remotely across Indiana and surrounding regions
Providing installation and post-installation support for AFIS and Facial Recognition Systems
Offering first-level hardware and software support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues on-site and remotely
Troubleshooting and repairing Livescan fingerprint capture workstations at customer sites
Analyzing system logs to identify problems and suggest effective solutions
Ensuring high customer satisfaction through professional and effective communication
Installing patches and upgrades for AFIS applications
Providing on-call support and keeping customers informed with timely updates and resolutions
Collaborating with customers to offer training and ensuring system functionality and efficiency
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or engineering field
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in field support or technical troubleshooting, preferably with biometrics systems
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux servers and workstations
Experience with troubleshooting Livescan fingerprint capture workstations and AFIS applications
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
