Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of delivery implementations, ensuring client expectations are met, projects are delivered with excellence, in scope on time, and within budget.
Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Serve as the link between project teams and Senior Leadership, ensure continued alignment in the pursuit of delivery excellence.
Ensure that targets for meeting and exceeding billable hours are met by efficiently managing time and workload.
Oversee project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Manage matrix resources and/or direct reports. Hiring, performance management, goal setting and performance reviews.
Develop and implement strategic plans for project execution and resource allocation.
Ensure the highest standards of quality in all deliverables, maintaining rigorous quality control and continuous improvement processes.
Actively participate/lead in business development activities, identifying new opportunities, contributing to proposals, and expanding client engagements. Current forecasts and financial outlook /pipeline of all projects and potential client growth in their portfolio. Support the account management function in the development of account plans.
Through delivery excellence fulfill needs of clients who are looking to honeycomb other use cases for Anaplan at their organization. Responsible for creating client relationships that identify needs and lead to Tru fulfillment of additional client needs beyond initial projects.
Engage with senior stakeholders, providing leadership and building trusted advisory relationships.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth execution and successful outcomes.
Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring that all key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Manage internal resources and drive career development for team members.
Advise clients on the development of change management plans and oversee their implementation.
Provide support for sales activities, including upselling and expanding existing customer relationships.

Required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, or a related field.
7+ years of software implementation consulting experience, with at least 5-10 years of enterprise performance management software experience.
7+ years of experience leading a professional services group.
Current Permanent US Work Authorization Required.
Extensive experience in project management methodologies, including risk management, resource planning, and quality assurance.
Proven ability to lead and manage project teams, providing mentorship and strategic direction.
Deep expertise in using Anaplan software.
Ability to work closely with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
Solid understanding of business processes and financial systems.
Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and promote best practices within the organization.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and motivate project teams.
Commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and maintaining the highest standards of project delivery.

Preferred

Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Extensive experience in higher education, public sector, or specific industry verticals relevant to Tru Consulting's focus.
Additional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Six Sigma, Anaplan Technical certifications, or other relevant industry certifications.
Proficiency in other relevant technologies and platforms that complement Anaplan, such as SQL, Python, or data visualization tools.
7+ years’ experience in leading large, cross-functional teams, and managing direct reports as well as senior-level stakeholders.
Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives, drive organizational change, and foster innovation.
Established reputation as a thought leader in the industry, with published articles, white papers, or speaking engagements at conferences.
Strong background in managing high-profile client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
8-10 years of progressively responsible project management, consulting, or technical experience, with a significant portion at a senior level.
Ability to engage with C-level executives and senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and building trusted advisory relationships.
Experience managing global or multi-national projects, with an understanding of diverse regulatory environments and business practices.
Proven track record of solving complex business problems and implementing large-scale, innovative solutions.
Expertise in leading organizational change initiatives, with a focus on change management strategies and practices.
Experience in developing and mentoring senior consultants and other high-potential team members.
Demonstrated success in business development, with a history of identifying new opportunities, expanding client engagements, and contributing to the growth of the business.
Deep expertise in advanced Anaplan functionalities and integrations, along with experience in complementary technologies such as machine learning, AI, or advanced analytics.
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding performance metrics, including utilization rates, project delivery, and client satisfaction scores.
