Responsibilities

Maintain physical plant, boilers, emergency generators, chillers, and associated equipment.

Ensure compliance with Federal, State, local, and JCAHO regulations and guidelines.

Operate boiler and chiller plant operations, fluid mechanicals, and computerized energy management systems.

Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Perform HVAC and CFC refrigeration operations, obtain necessary certifications, and complete required vocational or high school education.

Required

Knowledge of Plant Operations and Maintenance practices, procedures and systems.

Knowledge of all applicable Federal, State, local and JCAHO regulations and guidelines.

General knowledge of boiler and chiller plant operations. General knowledge of fluid mechanicals.

Knowledge of computerized energy management system(s).

HVAC or CFC refrigeration and recovery certificate- universal required -within 90 days from date of hire.

Must effectively read, write and verbally communicate in the English language.

Vocational School Graduate, or High School Graduate / GED
