Responsibilities

Maintains visual inspection standards.

Develops and implements plans for continuous Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements by enhancing yields, uptime, and cycle times on designated finishing systems.

Develops and implements plans for continuous inventory reductions. Analyzes ways to improve product flow through the department while also enhancing ergonomic conditions.

Participates in launch planning and implementation of new finish cells.

Develops and implements plans for continuous expense reductions.

Develops and implements plans for continuous Net Good Finish improvements.

Evaluates new and existing process equipment that would improve process performance.

Maintains FEMA and DCP information for designated finishing systems.

Maintains quality system integrity.

Helps with 8-D analyses and Design of Experiments.

Attends SBU meetings.

Assists Product Quality Engineers in implementing Parts Per Million (PPM) reduction efforts.
